Welcome to our communal living blog! We are the Real Housemates of Front Royal, VA and there are five housemates, in our commune, that have been cohabitating for 10 years. We are all working professionals with one common goal - happiness. Our commune was born out of necessisty and grew to be a family that works together to accomplish that goal. Further posts will share our history, experiences and how we have been successful with our commune. In today's economy, we feel sharing our experiences will provide hope and inspiration to those people who want to either keep their homes or buy a home as well as enrich their lives. We also would like to hear from other functioning communes and how they live - exchange experiences in order to either improve or enhance each others communes...a support group!
